About
Italian Dream finds houses in Italian villages that cost less than €100,000, and sends you the ones worth looking at.
Why this exists
Cheap Italian houses are not hard to find. They are all over the property portals, thousands of them, and almost all of them are wrong — bare land listed as a “house”, roofless shells, places needing two hundred thousand euro of restoration before anyone could sleep in them.
Finding the ones that are actually liveable means reading through all of it. That is the work we do.
How we choose
We read new listings across Italy every day. Anything over €100,000 is out. Anything needing full restoration is out. Land without a building is out, however it is described. What survives is judged on condition, light, setting and how the place actually photographs — and only the best of that is sent.
If nothing is good enough in a given week, we send less. We would rather be brief than pad the list.
What we are not
We are not an estate agent. We take no commission from you, and none from the seller. We are not paid to feature any property, and nobody can buy their way onto the list.
Every house links to the seller's original advert. When you contact the agent you deal with them directly, at their advertised price. We are not part of that conversation and we take no cut of it.
We are also not qualified to give legal, tax or financial advice about buying property in Italy. Talk to a notary and a commercialista before you commit to anything.
Who we are
Italian Dream is a project of SeedNext srl, an independent software company in Bologna, Italy.
Being Italian is the part that matters here. We read the listings in the language they were written in, we know what a geometra does and what da ristrutturare really means, and we can tell the difference between a village worth living in and a village that emptied out thirty years ago.
